What do you do?

Our methods involve a three prong approach:

1) First, we utilize a scientific self-assessment tool, combined with an oral history interview to identify unique strengths and weaknesses in your relationship. We examine five key relationship areas: friendship and intimacy, sex and passion, conflict management, shared meaning, and trust and commitment.

2) Next, we work on neutralizing triggers in the relationship. Triggers are echos from the past, typically stemming from past relationships, past negative experiences, and childhood traumas. These past experiences alter our perceptions of reality and can intensify conflicts. By learning from the past, we can let go of the negative emotions attached to these experiences. Thus, rendering the tigger as powerless.

3) Finally, we mentor you in building new skills and strategies to strengthen your relationship. We provide you with step-by-step blueprints for improving communication, deepening empathy and respect, building love maps, increasing fondness and friendship, managing conflict, supporting one another’s goals, and aligning values.

FAQs

A deeply rewarding and fulfilling marriage is both an art and a science

What is Marriage Coaching?

Historically, marriage counseling has had poor outcomes and high relapse rates. Much of the techniques used by therapists in the past were based on opinion and theory. More recently, evidence-based research has taught us exactly what makes relationships work, and what causes their failure. Using this knowledge, we provide couple to couple coaching that is personalized to focus on exactly what you need to transform your marriage. Coaching is a process that is meant to help couples explore their relationship, identify strengths and weakness, improve friendship and intimacy, increase respect and understanding, and manage conflicts. We do this without judgment or taking sides.

What are your fees?

From entry level workshops, to private coaching packages, we have options for every budget. We offer free 30 minute consultations for potential clients, to see if we’re a good fit for one another. View our rates here.

Do you work remotely?

Yes, but on a limited basis.
